Best Prices For Mobile Phone Plans

Low price plans for your mobile phone are a “must have” in this decade, but how can you afford them with the top carriers, such as AT&T and Verizon, always increasing the prices of their plans and keeping you in a long contract to pay that same ridiculous price every month for two years which makes them badly expensive in the first place? Read on if you want to find a few ways around that.
Sprint and T-Mobile are both largely considered the third and fourth biggest carriers behind AT&T and Verizon, but the cheap mobile phone plans they offer are actually a bit lower while still having great service and cellular reception in the vast majority of the United States. Both Sprint and T-Mobile are even getting access to the top cell phones on the market, such as the popular iPhone and the Android clones running the new Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The Top Places For Cheap Phone Plans

Most of top-tier carriers, such as AT&T and Verizon, offer competitive data plans for the new iPhone, and everyone wants them since they are considered the cheapest cell phone plans. Since the smart phone uses so much data for things that basically everyone uses now on social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc), the carriers have decided to charge a fee as part of any plan that is used by anyone with an iPhone. This “data plan” is usually around $30 or so, but basically gives you limited data transfer and text messages to be used each month. This was actually exclusive to the iPhone itself when it was released, but since then many companies have came out with their own “iPhone killer” mobile phones that use just as much data and then some, so carriers are now making this fee/charge mandatory for all smart phones released within the last couple years.
Verizon iPhone plans are similar to AT&T iPhone plans; neither are the cheapest as far as money goes but both give you the most coverage you are going to get from any carrier nationwide. Sprint iPhone plans come in next behind the big 2 (Verizon and AT&T), but is limited to coverage as already noted. The good thing about Sprint is that, as of the time of this post, it is the only carrier that allows you to unlock the phone on their network and still have cheap phone plans, which means you could pop in a sim card from another carrier and use it where cell service may be a little limited, provided you have a plan on another carrier that you are also paying for.

How To Find No Contract Cell Phone Plans

Almost all carriers will lock you into a 2-year contract when you sign up for their cheap cell phone plans. This keeps you from using other services in spots where yours may or may not have the best signal, but since you’re locked onto their network, it doesn’t matter to them since you’re still going to be paying them. Sprint cell phone plans have an option at the end of their contracts to unlock your phone, which gives them a small advantage. Also, another way is with a prepaid minutes phone, which lets you pay as you go and you can pay for the service you want at the drop of a dime anytime. You don’t have to wait until your 2 years are up before being able to explore other options and not find any no contract cell phone plans.

Prepaid phones aren’t the only method of getting out of contracts either. Some cell phone carriers will let you pay “month-to-month” without a long-term commitment, which is pretty much the same service you’ll be getting except if you ever decide to bail on the service due to lack of cell strength or service, you’re able to do so at the end of any month you want. The only disadvantage from these month-to-month plans is that most are more expensive when compared to 2-year plans with similar service. Also, some carriers will throw in a free phone or take off a huge amo 4fb8 unt of money towards a newer premium smart phone with a new 2-year agreement from you.

Cheap iPhone Plans From The Biggest Carriers

Verizon Wireless is the United States largest wireless carrier. Thanks to the new iPhone 4S, and soon 5 and 5S, it is now gaining an substantial lead on the rest of the US carriers. Back in 2006, AT&T started making up ground from past years by getting exclusivity to the iPhone, which went on for 4 years. During that time, many carriers were trying hard to get the handset on their network so that they could also bank on Apple’s newest innovative product and aim to have the cheapest cell phone plans available.

You can get cheap iPhone plans from AT&T and Verizon, but both are going to hit you with at least a $30 data plan fee, which is pretty much standard on all smart phones from any provider at this point. Apple’s iPhone is the most innovative thing that has came to the mobile phone market since antique flip phones become cool and hip. Apple has since taken over the industry and brought their very own “hip” headset to the market. Apple has released several reiterations of it’s best selling item, with it’s most recent release being the iPhone 5. With this being said, everyone is looking for the cheapest iPhone plan online to get the most out of their new phone at the lowest price possible.
Although they don’t offer a service unlock like other networks, AT&T offers unlocked phones at full price, and you don’t even have to sign a contract . This way, you can pay for whatever service you please. Very convenient for those that travel overseas a lot or outside of AT&T’s service range. At the moment, it doesn’t look like any other carriers offers any way to get a phone unlocked under their carrier agreement as AT&T does.
